Singapore!
After a delay, flight, delay and another flight, I finally arrived in Singapore! And it’s hot. Well actually that doesn’t bother me as I’ve been getting used to that for the past few weeks in Blighty. It’s the humidity. Over here air conditioning is king!
This morning I decided to walk from my hotel to the Orchard Road area where all the main shops are located. It started out fine but then realised that I was sweating buckets and had to dash into some shopping malls on the way just to cool down. I eventually got there and then decided that walking was not such a good idea anymore so got the MRT (their subway) to Raffles Place, which is over the bridge from the famous Raffles Hotel and the Singapore Sling.
I then visited Little India, Chinatown and the Botanical Gardens with the Orchid Garden, which were all very nice! Pictures will appear as soon as I have sorted this site out. Notice the lack of links and content.
I fly to Sydney tomorrow and then hopefully up to Brisbane the next day to meet up with C.

Good to hear that all is going well and that your adventures have begun!!!!–I was at Thorpe Park today—exactly the same as Alton Towers! (though not quite as nice)–thought of you!!!!
