It’s a rock

Uluru

One of the many pictures I took of Uluru. It goes through so many colour changes during sunset - beautiful! I also visited the Olgas and many visitors prefer them to the Rock. However, I liked the Rock and enjoyed the base walk. I didn’t climb it, unlike many others that I saw on the day I was there. Despite the notice board at the foot of the Rock asking you to respect the beliefs of the Aboriginal people and their culture and not to climb it, coach loads of people did, which I thought was sad.

You seem to have placed a picture of Ayers rock there when you intended for a picture of the lady from Star Trek….

Talking of Star Trek, we had a quiz on the bus I was travelling on down to Perth and one of the questions was who played the TV character T.J Hooker? Of course I knew the answer…

Soooo don’t want to be at my desk right now. Had a couple of people at work ask about the picture - have said it can be bought (from the famous artiste, Mister Cheung) for a reasonable price… fingers crossed ;-)
