A year of travel
It’s good to be back home. (BTW, happy Yorkshire Day, it truly is a special place!) No more packing. No more buses/trains/planes. No more bunkbeds. It has been a fantastic experience seeing so many beautiful places and meeting lots of nice and interesting people. So another trip comes to an end. Now where shall I go next…

What was the 42 hour journey?
And… how many friends did you make on the way?

Howard: Cheers. Good ol’ Yorkshire!
Si: The 42 hour journey was the train journey on the Indian Pacific from Perth to Adelaide which is about 1650 miles. Great fun. As for friends, there were a few along the way!

Long journey … but you got to do a quiz on it ;0)

It feels very nice to be in the same bed for more than a few days! And also the fact that you know no once is going to come in to your room and start rustling plastic bags or start chatting in the middle of the night like some dorm rooms I slept in whilst on my travels.
